Yoga Teachers

Alyssa Gravel

Hatha, Vinyasa, Yin

Alyssa is an East Coast native who moved to California in 2020 to pursue her MSW at UCLA. Her yoga practiced deepened significantly alongside her work as a mental health clinician, where she became deeply interested in how the body holds experience and how intentional movement can support healing beyond words.

Alyssa weaves her background in clinical social work with her spiritual practice of yoga to teach in a way that supports true somatic healing and growth of the soul. Her classes invite students to slow down, tune in, and build a relationship with their inner landscape—balancing strength, softness, and self-trust.

She lives in Los Angeles with her cat, Cosette, and her ball python, Pearl. Outside the studio, she finds grounding and inspiration through creative work with music, yarn, food, and movement (especially dancing salsa and bachata).

Alyssa is a Yoga Alliance certified teacher and completed her 200-hour YTT in 2025 with Modo Yoga International in Nicaragua. In addition to her work at Tribe, she teaches group classes at North Ray Yoga - La Brea and works with a number of private students.

"Yoga is the journey of the self, through the self, to the self.”

Clarissa Castillo

Vinyasa, Mommy & Me

I was certified to teach yoga in 2025, after beginning my personal practice in 2022. Yoga has become a meaningful way for me to connect with others, and I’m especially passionate about creating a supportive, inclusive space where students of all levels feel comfortable showing up exactly as they are. My classes emphasize community, presence, and accessibility, with the goal of making yoga feel approachable rather than intimidating.
I’ve been based in Los Angeles since 2016, where I continue to grow both as a teacher and a student. Outside of yoga, I love hiking, reading, and spending quality time with my family—activities that help ground and inspire me. I believe these off-the-mat moments inform my teaching, encouraging balance, curiosity, and connection both in class and beyond.

“Yoga does not just change the way we see things, it transforms the person who sees.”

Colleen Kresoja

Breathwork

Colleen was introduced to Breathwork in an acting class. We would usually start class with a short meditation, but our teacher had us try some Breathwork. While she loved meditating before class, Breathwork was something different. She knew it was something she wanted to do again. She started going to Breathwork sessions with Jon Paul Crimi in Santa Monica.

As she grew to see the benefits of Breathwork she wanted to share it with others. So, she got her Breathwork Certification with Jon Paul Crimi, a master Breathwork Facilitator with over a decade of experience.

She still does Breathwork a few times a week as she finds doing it regularly makes her feel calmer, more emotionally resilient, more creative, more grateful, more self-confident. Like going to the gym or to yoga class, the benefits come from a little diligence and self-discipline.

Colleen lives in L.A. with her husband, Joe and outside of Breathwork she is an actor and filmmaker. Her most recent film, Unimaginable, is currently in post-production. She also loves to cook and read.

“The mind is everything. What you think you become.”

Delmy Navarrete

Yin, Restorative, Slow Flow

Delmy is a Los Angeles native who turned to yoga while navigating chronic pain and work burnout. What began as a search for relief quickly transformed into a deep love for the practice and a powerful path of healing, awareness, and self-connection. She felt called to share the same sense of safety, calm, and grounding yoga gave her during a time when traditional fitness spaces felt overwhelming and unwelcoming.

Delmy teaches slow flow, yin, and restorative yoga. Her teaching is rooted in accessibility, awareness, and creating a space where every student feels safe and supported (no yoga intimidation allowed). Expect slow, intentional flows, grounding guidance, deep breaths, and thoughtful variations for every pose. Her classes are a place to slow down, reconnect, and take time just for you, weaving in subtle energetic awareness and soothing sensory elements to deepen relaxation and inner connection.

“Yoga begins right where I am — not where I was yesterday or where I long to be.”

Jinkie Andrews

Vinyasa

I am Jinkie! I am originally from Hillsborough, North Carolina & moved to Los Angeles 4 years ago to pursue my education at Loyola Marymount University. I was initially drawn to yoga because it connected mindfulness with the movement I already loved. My yoga practice brought me great peace in hectic times when I first moved from NC to LA. In the past years my love for yoga continued to strengthen and I became a 200-hour certified yoga teacher & did my training at SoulPlay Yoga & Fitness.

My teaching style is challenging, while still being encouraging and accessible. I enjoy helping students feel supported while gently pushing to explore what we are all capable of! I enjoy teaching fluid & strengthening vinyasa classes. My goal as a teacher is for you to leave class feeling stronger, grounded, & proud of your practice.

“Feel the fear and do it anyway.”

Julyssa Guevara

Sound Bath

Meet Julyssa Guevara – Sound Facilitator
My journey with sound began with the rhythm of drums. At first, I didn’t understand why my ancestors were guiding me toward them, but I followed their call with an open heart. What I didn’t realize then was that drumming was the first step to preparing me for the path of sound facilitation.
Under the mentorship of Bella Rivera of Align with Bella, I deepened my practice and began offering both one-on-one and group sound baths. Each session I hold is intuitively guided by your energy. It is your energy that invites the sound bowls and drums to create a space where you can feel grounded, relaxed, and deeply connected to your body and spirit.
