Apply to Teach Dance

This Agreement is made effective as of the date on this form, by and between: Studio: All Styles Tribe LLC, located at 5156 W Washington Blvd, Los Angeles, CA ("Studio") and the Instructor named in this form, residing at the listed address ("Instructor").

1. Pay and Incentives

• Via Zelle or Venmo weekly on the following Monday of Sun - Sat schedule

• 35% of revenue for the class or series

  • Note classpass students pay less than 50% of a regular student

  • Free students obviously contribute nothing to the revenue

• Priority parking off street

• One guest pass per class

• Unlimited Free registration for any other classes at the studio

2. Requirements for Teachers

1. Create new interesting dance video content every week including tutorials, iconic locations, outfits, lighting, & trending topics.

2. Post to Instagram 2 days before your class and tag @allstylestribe  

3. Show up 15 minutes before class and stay 15 minutes after to build relationships

4. Commit to a weekly timeslot or series. Find a substitute if something comes up

5. In class:

   1. Begin by learning each students name & experience

   2. Warm up and stretch every class. 

   3. Formations and groups for videos at the end

   4. Give students feedback, encouragement, and expectations for the next class

6. Provide a safe and respectful learning environment.

3. Engagement & Term

The Studio agrees to engage the Instructor as an independent contractor to teach dance or yoga  classes at the Studio's premises or designated locations. This Agreement commences on the date this form is signed and continues until terminated. Teachers with the greatest class attendance or meeting a specific need will be given priority for assigned time slots. There will be an evaluation and assessment of your classes every 30 days. The studio reserves the right to reassign or cancel your time slot for any reason. 

4. Independent Contractor 1099 Status & W-9 form

• The Instructor is not an employee of the Studio.

• The Instructor shall be responsible for their own taxes, insurance, and liabilities.

• The Instructor has the right to perform services for other clients unless it conflicts with obligations to the Studio.

5. Studio Policies

Instructor agrees to comply with all studio rules, including policies regarding:

• Class cancellations (24-hour notice minimum)

• Substitute teachers (Studio must approve subs in advance)

• Classes with less than 2 paying students will be cancelled 

• Heels and shoes must not leave marks on the floors

• No metal chairs, tables, or other furniture is allowed without protective rubber or felt bottoms

6. Intellectual Property

Any original choreography created by the Instructor remains the property of the Instructor. However, the Studio retains the right to record and use footage of classes for marketing, training, or promotional purposes with mutual consent.

7. Termination

Termination may occur for:

• Failing to abide by the requirement in section 2 above

• Misconduct or breach of Studio policy

• Repeated lateness or unexcused absences

• Consistently low attendance for the teacher’s classes

• Violation of terms in this Agreement\

• For any reason with 30 days written notice by either party

8. Liability and Insurance

The Instructor agrees to hold harmless the Studio from any claims, losses, or damages arising from instruction unless caused by the Studio’s negligence. The Instructor is encouraged to maintain their own liability insurance.

9. Governing Law & Entire Agreement

This Agreement shall be governed by the laws of the State of California. This is the entire agreement between the parties. Any changes must be in writing and signed by both parties.
