Acrobatic Dance Class

Acrobatic Dance is an expressive movement discipline that seamlessly merges classical dance techniques like Jazz, Contemporary, or Modern with the athletic skills of acrobatics and floor work. Unlike traditional gymnastics, which relies on power, speed, and specialized apparatuses, AcroDance prioritizes fluid, artistic transitions so that acrobatic elements flow naturally into dance choreography without breaking rhythm or momentum. Class begins with targeted warm-ups and conditioning to build core strength and wrist stability, followed by flexibility training, hand-balancing exercises, and progressive tumbling skills ranging from walkovers to advanced aerials.

AcroDance is performed on stage at dance competitions, studio showcases, and commercial entertainment events. It is done on professional dance tours, music videos, and physical theater productions like Cirque du Soleil, where performers rely on sprung floors or specialized stage surfaces to execute fluid ground tricks safely.
