James Zidell
Yoga, Axial Flow, Freestyle
James Zidell, the visionary behind Axial Flow Movement, brings a rich and dynamic background. Originally hailing from Los Angeles, he has spent 8 years honing his craft while teaching all over the world, where he blends his passion for dance with innovative fitness techniques. His journey began with 5 Rhythms static dance, evolving into a unique fusion with staff and fire dancing, inspired by the axial planes of movement. This creative approach has led him to collaborate with diverse teams, participate in world wide retreats, and showcase his skills in various performances, captivating audiences with his fluid, prop-driven style.
With a foundation from elder teachers in Flow arts and fire dancing, James has developed a teaching style that emphasizes mindfulness and adaptability and play, using dance props like the staff to guide participants through movements across frontal and sagittal planes. He has been dancing for 8 years, a passion ignited by 5 Rhythms and enriched by staff and fire dancing. For James, dancing is a dialogue with the staff—it teaches him new movements, guiding him as much as he guides it, with the staff’s spin dictating a rhythm he must harmonize with. If he missteps and feels a whack, it’s a signal to slow down and realign, embodying his philosophy of growth through balance and adjustment, which he now shares with his clients.

Sabrina Rose
Ashtanga
Sabrina was blown away by the profound sense of inner peace she experienced after her first yoga class. She never looked back and dove in head first, taking classes 6 to 7 days a week at every yoga studio in her small home town. She obtained her 200 Hour YTT with her mentor, Chloe Nickels of Lotus Yoga Academy (Winston-Salem, North Carolina). She studied all types of yoga but with a special emphasis on Ashtanga Yoga. In August of 2021, Sabrina traveled to Greece to obtain her 500 Hour certification with Yoga Skyros Academy. Here, the focus was on Hatha yoga, with special emphasis on chakra healing, adjustments, chanting, and the spiritual aspects of yoga. Students can expect to leave Sabrina’s class with a sense of inner peace and physical power. Sabrina loves teaching yoga because she knows how truly life changing the practice is and knows it is her life's mission to impart this gift to others.

"Yoga is the practice of quieting the mind so the true self can be revealed."
